Terms & Conditions for Home Tutors at Tutor Corridor

1. Registration & Engagement

1.1 Tutor registration with Tutor Corridor is free of charge. 1.2 Tutors must provide accurate personal and professional details during registration. 1.3 Tutor Corridor reserves the right to verify tutor credentials before assigning students.

2. Commission & Payment

2.1 Tutor Corridor charges a 10% commission on the total monthly fee paid by the student/guardian. 2.2 Students/parents will directly pay their fee to Tutor Corridor. 2.3 Tutor Corridor will pay the tutor’s fee after a 10% deduction of the total monthly fee every month. 2.4 Tutors must report the agreed-upon fee before commencing tuition. 2.5 30% commission will be charged on Package based/Short term courses.  2.6 Payments will be made via the mutually agreed payment method by Tutor Corridor and their Tutors. 2.6 Any disputes regarding payments must be raised within 7 days of receiving the fee.

3. Responsibilities of Tutors

3.1 Tutors must conduct sessions professionally and adhere to the agreed schedule. 3.2 Tutors must inform both the student and Tutor Corridor in case of any leave or schedule change. 3.3 Tutors must maintain discipline and ethical behavior while conducting sessions. 3.4 Tutors should not engage in direct dealings with students/parents that bypass Tutor Corridor. 3.5 Any misconduct or violation of terms may result in termination from the Tutor Corridor platform.

4. Termination & Disputes

4.1 Tutor Corridor reserves the right to remove tutors from its platform in case of complaints, unethical behavior, or violation of policies. 4.2 Tutors can discontinue services by informing Tutor Corridor at least 15 days in advance. 4.3 Any disputes will be resolved through mediation facilitated by Tutor Corridor.

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

5.1 Tutors must maintain confidentiality regarding student information. 5.2 Personal details shared with Tutor Corridor will not be disclosed to third parties without consent. 5.3 Tutor Corridor may use tutor data for verification and service improvement purposes.

6. Amendments & Modifications

6.1 Tutor Corridor reserves the right to modify these terms & conditions as necessary. 6.2 Tutors will be notified of any changes, and continued engagement implies acceptance of revised terms.

By registering as a tutor with Tutor Corridor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

The Tutor needs to Submit the Following Documents at Our Office 
  • 2 passport size photographs.
  • Copy of your ID Proof (eg Aadhar Card, DL, Passport etc)
  • Copy of your latest degree/marksheet.

Terms and Conditions for Students & Parents

1. Payment Policy

1.1. Parents/students must make all payments directly to Tutor Corridor. Tutors are not authorized to accept any payments on behalf of Tutor Corridor. 1.2. Payments should be made in advance at the beginning of each month. 1.3. The fee for tutoring services is non-refundable and non-transferable. 1.4. More delay in payment may result in suspension or termination of tutoring services.

2. Tutor Verification

2.1. Parents are strongly advised to take/collect the tutor’s identity proof before starting the sessions. 

3. Liability Disclaimer

3.1. Tutor Corridor acts as an intermediary connecting tutors with students and is not responsible for any misconduct, negligence, or mishap occurring during or outside tutoring sessions. 3.2. Parents/students are responsible for ensuring a safe and suitable environment for tutoring. 3.3. In case of any dispute or issue, Tutor Corridor will assist in resolution but holds no legal liability for personal matters between tutors and parents/students.

4. Special Services

4.1. Tutor Corridor provides additional academic support, including:

  • Monthly Career Counseling Sessions (2 sessions per month)

  • Mock Tests for student progress and assessment (2 tests per month) 4.2. These special services are available at an additional charge of ₹999 per month. 4.3. Parents/students can opt for these services at the time of enrollment or anytime during the tutoring period.

5. General Terms

5.1. Tutor Corridor reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. 5.2. Students and parents must adhere to ethical conduct while engaging with tutors. 5.3. By availing Tutor Corridor services, parents and students agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
